Team captains create a team online when they register, and everyone on the team saves $5 off the base entry fee! If you have already created a team for another TSL event (like the St Patrick's Day Human Race), all you need to do is login and make your team active for Grand Old Day On the Go.
Want to start your own team? Here`s how easy it is:
- Don`t be worried about the responsibilities of being a Team Captain. All you have to do is contact a few people and sign-up your team. We take care of the rest. There are no extra fees or long list of captain`s duties.
- Teams consist of five or more members, so think about who you want on your team. Family? Friends? Co-workers? Training partners? It won`t take you long to come up with a list! Team members can enter the 8K or 5K in any combination, so there is an event for everybody.
- Decide on a team name. You may want to talk to a few teammates and get their input. Try for something unique, and have a second choice just in case your first choice is taken.
- Click the Team link under MY TSL at the top of this page, or follow the links when you sign yourself up for the race. Fill in your team name, and finish the rest of your individual registration and you`re done!
- Contact your other teammates. Let them know your team name and password (optional).
- Once your team is registered, you`ll receive special offers for our events year-round. There are no extra meetings, dues, or big responsibilities, just an opportunity for you to share the fun and fitness!
