Runner, Author Kate Havelin to Talk Trails On July 11 |

Twin Cities author Kate Havelin traveled across Minnesota to research two books on hiking and running trails. She will be giving a talk on Saturday, July 11 at the Roseville REI store (1955 County Rd B2W, west of Rosedale, in Schneiderman's Plaza)at 1:00 PM. Havelin will discuss some of the 31 trails described in her new book, Best Hikes of the Twin Cities.
Best Hikes of the Twin Cities, is a finalist for a Midwest Book Award. Another book by Havelin, Minnesota Running Trails: Dirt, Gravel, Rocks, and Roots, won Best Sports, Travel, and Recreation Book in the 2007 Midwest Book Awards. |
